Stay Well to Stay Strong

COVID-19 was not just a virus that affected the health of its sufferers, but also one that could affect others as it is incredibly infectious. As a result, Circuit Breaker was introduced as a stop-gap measure in mid-2020.

This solution, however, sparked off another set of problems which are detrimental to our mental health.

We turned an instructional video on coping with mental health into an animation of a boy named Oliver, addressing issues like toxic positivity — a phenomenon that surfaced as a result of people boasting about being productive and picking up new skills like baking during the lockdown.

To date, the video has garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube.

A simple tool was then created to help us better understand our emotions by:
1) Identifying them
2) Determining the triggers
3) Recognising how it affects our thoughts
4) Letting go of unhealthy thinking patterns

We even created a Can-Do List to encourage Singaporeans to celebrate small wins every day, for 2 weeks. It’s like a to-do list, except you’ll be able to clear it!

Lastly, we created a set of mobile wallpapers to charge the lives of Singaporeans with positivity!
